The Harp is an old pub on Chandos Street, Covent Garden, of Irish and Welsh heritage. Like all good pubs, I don't remember my first visit, but it left a good enough impression for me to then have many more visits and now it is home to many good memories.

A great place to scurry away from the swarming market and streets to quench your thirst in a casual and comfortable all be it sometimes chaotically busy place. A prize winner for the last ten or so years for its reputation in serving plenty of great beers, the evidence is shown in the hundreds of beer and cider badges decorating the walls and ceiling.

The bar is narrow and (pre covid) filled with small groups of drinkers, mostly standing. Upstairs is a small room which when I was last there was like an old sitting room with leather armchairs. This place is well worth a visit and you'll likely be hooked for life!
